EAIC Lab — Dossier 01 — Robotics & spatial intelligence — In build — access by invitation, NDA standard
RENTAROBOT
Hiring a robot should be as easy as hiring a van.
Booking, identity, insurance evidence, teleoperation and an operator marketplace for physical machines. The hard part isn’t mechanical — it’s who answers when nobody’s driving.
The declassified summary
Robots are becoming the most underused capital asset of the decade — machines that cost as much as a truck and sit idle because access, insurance and supervision haven’t caught up with the hardware. RENTAROBOT is the Lab’s answer: a booking and coordination layer where a robot can be hired, tasked, supervised and evidenced like any other resource.
The prototype concentrates on the unglamorous parts that make the idea investable: identity and permissions, task definition, pricing, insurance evidence, teleoperation handoff and an operator marketplace. The mechanics are the easy half. The product is the paperwork — automated.
And because it is an EAIC project, governance is not an afterthought: liability, safety cases and audit trails are designed in from the first booking. The working notes and the prototype itself sit behind Lab access — this dossier is the part we can show in public.
This dossier is the public cover of a private build programme. Specifics — architecture, partners, metrics and timelines — are shared with client partners under NDA.
The interesting part isn’t on this page.
Lab access — working notes, prototypes, and a seat at the bench — is reserved for client partners. If Rentarobot is the kind of problem your organisation is circling, start the conversation.
